David Marler, author of Triangular UFOs, was last night's guest on C2C:Triangular UFOs - Shows - Coast to Coast AM. Absolutely fascinating! For example, the earliest sightings of these triangle UFOs go back to the eighteen hundreds. Before I heard that, I thought the earliest was in the nineteen fifties. I've often thought that the triangles were mainly man made objects but, while some of them may well be, that explanation doesn't cover all of the phenomenon. The only conclusion: non-human. Whether that is ET from outer space or something else, who can say. But after listening to Marler, with his precise information on these triangles, you really can't come away with any other conclusion.

Researcher Richard Dolan has written much on the triangle UFOs, and now, Dolan is publishing as well as writing. He is the publisher of Marler's book, which only adds to the credibility of this research.

I've been interested in the triangle UFOs because I saw one of these myself years ago. Man made, possible, or, not. Either way, it was a very eerie experience.

Polls show that Americans remain closely divided on attitudes toward extraterrestrials, with a 2008 Scripps Howard/Ohio University poll reporting 56% who believe it is "very likely" or "somewhat likely" that intelligent life has developed in other worlds. Self-described Democrats (according to the same survey) are far more likely to say they have personally seen "visitors from another world" than are their Republican counterparts, who remain distinctly skeptical.

Eugene Area Man Views Multiple Ufos Over Week Time

Recently, a retired Eugene area pilot, Charles Vance (pseudonym), with commercial and instructor's licenses, emailed Oregon MUFON his detailed observations of at least four different anomalous objects in the night sky. He viewed these objects from just outside his house, and they appeared from 9/11/13 to 9/19/13 variously from 9 to 10:30 PM. Most observations were made with a Bushnell spotting scope on a tripod without vibration.

He wrote:

On 9/11, I noticed a very bright "star" at 9:15 PM at 20o NE (magnetic) and 19o above the horizon. The "star" was blinking at a set sequence like a rotating beacon with white, red, and green at a constant rate. At 10:30 PM, it had raised its position 15o higher.

On 9/12, "star" #1 was again observed at the same location, and there was an additional "star" (#2) rotating like a beacon at 15o NE of "star" #1 at 10 PM.

On 9/13, "star" #1 and #2 were observed the same as the previous night when a third "star" (#3) rotating like a beacon appeared at 15o NE of "star" #2 at 10 PM.

Some cloudy nights intervened and then on 9/16, "stars" #1 and #2 appeared in the same location as "star" #3 at 10 PM.

On 9/17, "stars" #1, #2, and #3 appeared at 10 PM in a similar configuration as on 9/13.

On 9/18, "stars" #1, #2, #3, plus a fourth "star" appeared 15o NE of #3. All four were evenly spaced in a gradual arc accross the sky. "Star" #1 was the brightest of the four probably due to atmospheric lensing.

On 9/19, "star" #1 was the lone anomalous object and was much brighter than ever before.

These objects/beacons were not aircraft. Some were seen crossing the sky but were not as bright as before.

In a later email, Charles said,

[that he believed he had seen some triangular UFOs similar to the ones from Belgium in the late 1980s and earlier 1990s] except the lights were white, red, and blue/green [at the corners]. I did not see the same angle as the [witness to the famous] Belgium [photo did] but rather [my UFOs were] angled [so that I was looking about] 5o [from] above the object [,that is,] looking down on it. I did not see the mass in between the lights that were spinning/rotating, but saw the glow going about half speed of a helicopter main rotor blade 400RPM +/-.

When I first saw [the first "star"] on 9/11, I could clearly see color changing with my naked eye, and I called my wife out to see it also. She saw a definite flashing, but did not see the colors.

I was very curious and got out my 60 power spotting scope. I braced it against a 4x4 post, and was amazed at what I saw. The object was moving around in very tight circles all within my field of view. I thought about what I saw and decided to put the scope on a tripod and observe without heart beat and hand shake.

Last night at 10:10 PM, we had clear skies, and I again saw four similar objects as described on 9/18 with the fourth object being 10o above the gentle arc.

One thing that really puzzles me is that commercial and military aircraft [fly] in north/south airways along the same general gentle arc. Their view of this would have to be startling [I would think].

'I know what I saw' and am still amazed.

Ufo Sighting In Mission Viejo

While at Sycamore Park (facing north-west, overlooking Aliso Creek) stargazing with two friends, I noticed a brightly glowing object that appeared beneath power lines, to the right of a stand of trees, and above a house on a small hill. The object caught my attention because it appeared suddenly and was traveling in a different direction than the easily identifiable commercial aircraft that passed periodically overhead and followed an identical flight path. At first I thought the object might have been an airplane or helicopter with landing (or other) lights illuminated; but it was much brighter than any aircraft landing lights I had ever observed previously. It seemed to be traveling faster than the commercial aircraft in the sky. There were no blinking lights associated with this object. The glow suddenly faded over a period of approximately two seconds, transitioning from bright white, to soft blue-green, to faint blue-white. The object then disappeared. I mentioned the presence of the object to my friends, one of whom looked up just after it disappeared. I immediately wondered whether it was a satellite; although it had glowed brightly in a similar manner to a large meteor, it was moving much too slowly (800-1200 mph from my vantage point, assuming it was at roughly the same altitude as the commercial aircraft). The object then reappeared about six inches of sky to the right of its last observed location. It glowed a soft blue-green and faded to blue-white over a period of about three seconds. Again, I told my friends. It disappeared again, at which time I concluded that it was not a satellite, as I had never seen one glow brightly, disappear, reappear, then disappear again; it was unlike any aircraft, meteor, or satellite I had seen before. My friend had looked up again, but was too late to see it. The object reappeared a final time, some five or six inches to the right of its previous location, and one or two inches farther north. It seemed to have changed direction slightly. I told my friends once more, and one of them looked up, then exclaimed that she saw it, too. (The other had not been paying attention.) Again it glowed a soft blue-green and faded to a faint blue-white over a period of two or three seconds. Roswell Dome Of Silence

It has long been clear that a craft did crash and that bodies were recovered. Now that the last key witnesses have effectively left us, it is noteworthy that a number have provided confirmation. The quality is such here that it goes beyond plausible denial and they are deathbed reports.

I do not expect to see any more. This does provide full credence to additional reports in which the bodies were observed by a privileged few.

It is also far too easy to speculate on what took place thereafter, but my first guess is that not much in terms of science itself. Way more plausible, is that the material got stored and placed under secrecy's dome of silence effectively stifling much development. At the same time, in the time and place, available tests were few and generally limited. So actually little could have been advanced then.

Yet that has all changed and if there is a surety here, it is that we have their DNA. Silence on that is not reasonable. That data alone should have public disclosure.

We have additional reports that all focus on the idea that we have somehow mined the data for some part of our current technology. My problem with that is that it is simply unnecessary unless example is sufficient. It is only now that our own technical skill has reached the point in which core aspects of the UFO can be even properly surmised and identified in our own evolving science. This led to my article on reverse engineering the UFO in 2008 after key lab work came out.

Otherwise we are in the position of the Haida contemplating a mast coming ashore before contact. Other bits of flotsam have also come ashore since then but the same problem continues. If it is identified, it is stuck under the dome of secrecy. My own experience over years of dealing with even the best professionals is that they will simply hoard the object when unable to comment on it. The Smithsonian is stuffed with stuff like that. Sharing it must become mandatory and that only happens once the dome is lifted.
