No UFO has ever been tracked on radar entering the Earth's atmosphere

There are thousands of documented cases of unexplained ships, hundreds of cases of governments hiding what they know, and decades of an attempt to encourage the populace to discard the facts as fantasy or foolishness.

According to the law it is illegal for U.S. citizens to have any contact with extraterrestrials or their vehicles

There are an average of 70,000 reported UFO sightings every year, worldwide. That's an average of 192 per day.

One allegedly well-documented report stems from an interview in which astronaut Buzz Aldrin describes seeing a UFO during the Apollo 11 mission

According to some UFO aficionados, the Men in Black (MIBs) really do exist, and have been hammering on the doors of alien witnesses ever since the first appearance of flying saucers in 1947.

Skeptoid Chatter On The Jref Mcminnville Ufo Fest
I was surprised to find that the skeptibunkies at the JREF have created a thread devoted to the McMinnville UFO Fest.

Among the expected and usual, is this comment from "kittynh" (who likes to play UFO researcher; explore the history, if you have the inclination) on Travis Walton:

TRAVIS WALTON is still raking in money on the UFO thing?Yeah, he and all other UFO researchers and witnesses are rolling in the dough, as we all know. That's how we can afford our secret underground tin foil encased villa in the Mediterranean.

"Gord in Toronto" reassures that:

The UFO folks are "Mostly harmless"* and it's not likely that you'll be inducted into any cult.

Of course there were a few members who posted this infamous link to the Trent UFO sighting (of which the McMinnville UFO conference/fest is in homage to) that rabid skeptoid Robert Sheaffer "debunks" the Trent case. Sheaffer is not only among the most loathsome of skeptics, he's a raging misogynist.

As I posted on UFOMystic a week or so ago, (A Ha! I Knew It; Skeptics Infiltrate McMinnville UFO Fest) the skeptics do intentionally infiltrate the McMinnville UFO conference, as no doubt they do all over the country at various UFO conferences. I hadn't heard any skeptic questions asked during the Q don't know.

SHORT UFO FACT: [A classic set of impressive UFO photos was taken by Mr. and Mrs. Trent in the early part of the evening, just before sunset, on May 11, 1950, near McMinnville, Oregon. According to the Trent's account the object, as it appeared over their farm was first seen by Ms. Trent while she was feeding the farm's rabbits. She then quickly called her husband who got the family's camera and Mr. Trent then took two shots from positions only just a few feet apart. The pictures first appeared in a local newspaper and afterwards in Life magazine. Seventeen years later the photos were subjected to a detailed analysis for the University of Colorado UFO Project.]

SHORT UFO FACT: [A classic UFO film was taken on August 15, 1950, by Nicolas Mariana, general manager of the Great Falls "SELECTRICS" baseball team. This film was listed as Top Secret and, although now declassified, is still considered an "UNKNOWN." Note that in government "RELEASES" (NATIONAL ARCHIVES, ETC.), the distant objects in the frames almost don't show up. However, even the TNT versions (AS YOU WILL SEE LATER) show that the objects were clearly visible and oval-shaped, especially in the early footage.]
