UPDATED July 21st, 2007:
US GOVERNMENT UFO DISCLOSURE SIDELINED AFTER MYSTERIOUS REQUEST: "PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME ABOUT THIS AGAIN."We had been informed that 'Source CoR25' was ready to make an announcement about the disclosure of government insider knowledge of an extraterrestrial visitation. " STARstream Research" had received prior confirmation of an intent to approach major media outlets by 'CoR25'... who had even provided us with dates of alleged extraterrestrial contact. It now appears that 'Source CoR25's revelations are limited to the investigative article by Gus Russo.
"Please do not ask me about this again."
Since the publication of Russo's story, "The Real X-Files: Is Uncle Sam a Closet UFOlogist?" 'CoR25' has gone silent. The last contact we had with 'CoR25' suggested that his silence was obtained by someone concerned with the transcript we provided at our blog site of the CIA's Ron Pandolfi. Apparently the so-called UFO Working Group remains a sensitive topic.
Meanwhile, the folks at "Reality Uncovered," who have had their own dealings with 'CoR25' have announced a major disclosure. When their report becomes available we will announce it here. Perhaps in response to the forthcoming report, Ryan Dube of Reality Uncovered has allegedly received various threats and warnings, and as a result, "it would be best if he steps back from taking an active part in the upcoming report."
In spite of requests to refrain from identifying certain individuals and their involvement with UFOlogists and phenomenologists, pressure from the editors at PR Web to name sources ended with some of Gus Russo's sources being identified in our last press release:
"Russo has refrained from releasing names of the parties involved in his story. Starstream Research has confirmed sources include former CIA DS">As previously noted in this blog, the decision to release names in this particular situation was largely influenced by the fact that these sources were already well known in the public domain, having been the subject of numerous forums, UFO enthusiast groups, public-list emails, web site articles and even official documents.
We hope to see a follow-up article from Russo in the near future. Meanwhile, our focus has shifted for the time being, as we investigate post-STAR GATE use of anomalous mental phenomena, perhaps at the NSA and other military units, in the war on terror.
