Dr. Steven Greer, who organized the Disclosure Project that briefed American and world leaders on UFOs during the Clinton administration, has made some remarkable public statements recently. http://www.ufoevidence.org/documents/doc1521.htm These statements are all the more relevant because the Obama administration seems to be building on the Clinton attempt to regain control over extraterrestrial policy and the alien resource trade from a secret cartel of multinational corporations. This could become the mother of all turf wars between government and industry with the future of global society hanging in the balance.

Dr. Steven Greer stated in this interview. "But unfortunately, President Clinton was afraid of what might happen to him if he really took on the powers that be on this issue. This was made very clear to me by a friend of the President who came to my house and said, "Look, we are afraid that if Bill Clinton does what you're recommending, he will end up like Jack Kennedy." And I started laughing, I thought he was making a big joke, but he was serious."

Steven Greer said. "So on April 9, 1997, at the Westin Hotel in Georgetown, I hosted a briefing for about 30 Congressional offices; different members of Congress came, people connected with the White House and the Vice-President's office came, Pentagon officials came. What was interesting was that Congressman Dan Burton came, who is famous and very powerful Chairman of the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, and he turned to my people and said, "Tell Dr. Greer I want everything he has on this, and that we want to pursue this." Well, of course we felt that this was very promising because if you understand how Congress works, a chairman of the committee can pretty much call for hearings and get hearings on something, so he started looking into it, but then his chief of staff and he started having some strange surveillance and were basically forced to back off.

"Well, we tried to get President Clinton to put together an effort to disclose this information and Woolsey, who was CIA Director from 1993-1995, was very much in agreement, but told us that he and the President did not have access to these projects that they were essentially being lied to."

In this same interview Dr. Steven Greer backs up the testimony of Ben Rich who was director of Lockheed's Skunkworks and aeronautical engineer Bill Uhouse who stated that extraterrestrial policy was privatized in a Nixon purge during the 1960s. http://exopolitics.blogspot.com/2008/10/targeting-corporation-x.html Greer stated. "I was continuing to go to people who were deep on the inside of these secret projects, who were handing off to me the information of where the facilities were located, what corporations were involved, what technologies had been developed....)

In this interview we have an additional piece of information that supports the testimony of the Pickering Brother's active duty naval officer source who has indicated that the Navy is very involved in pushing disclosure and regaining constitutional control over extraterrestrial polity. http://exopolitics.org/Exo-Comment-80.htm Greer says, "... I literally had an admiral who is a senior official at the Pentagon say. "Look, I know that these projects exist; I have been lied to about them, and if you can do anything to get it out, do it."

In conclusion Steven stated, "So we feel that we have kind of cleared a path for disclosure to happen." Regardless how people feel about Dr. Greer I think he and others like retired Commander C. B Scott Jones have laid the groundwork for the new administration to take up where the Clinton administration left off in the battle to regain control over alien resources and extraterrestrial policy from the private sector. Clearly the secret, powerful, dangerous UFO/ET corporate cartel won the first round in the battle over UFO policy during the Clinton administration. Will they also win round two in the new Obama administration?
